Which is a lot better than getting forked or knifed. Stop sitting around the house getting all tarnished up and come out and have some clean fun. The “Spoon Man” is a Published Author who offers a hilarious interactive comedy program for all ages. He gives a real stirring performance. Everyone will really eat him up. No bibs required. The “Spoon Man” has a totally clean act. He never uses dirty silverware. The “Spoon Man” will leave a lasting impression after playing on you (literally). It’s a spoonful of family fun.

In 1986, Jim was the first American Spoon player ever to perform in Russia in the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg. He has also performed for Pres. Gerald Ford and Mikail Gorbochev.



Free Pisanki Workshop by Rosemary Chorzempa: Rosemary is the leading authority on all things Polish in the Toledo area. Some of the books Rosemary has published are My Family Tree Workbook, Design Your Own Coat of Arms, Polish Roots, and Polish Genealogy Research (Genealogy at a Glance). She has given numerous workshops on the art of pisanki and she will bring that artform to the Polish American Festival on Saturday, May 19 at 2:00 PM.

Promedica Fire Safety House (Fire and Burn Safety), Saturday May 19, 11 AM to 7 PM and Sunday the 20 th , 11 AM to 4 PM. This program is focused on the prevention of fires and general household safety. To help better educate children, Safe Kids Greater Toledo operates an interactive Fire Safety House, which allows for realistic education to take place in a completely safe environment – including discussions about the importance of smoke detectors and what to do when a smoke alarm sounds, reminders about how to call the 911 emergency center and a discussion about fire-escape plans. The ProMedica Toledo Hospital and Toledo Children’s Hospital Auxiliary fund the Fire Safety House
